Upcoming Events in Daytona Beach: ![]() Climb to the Moon at Florida's tallest lighthouse to experience spectacular views of the sunset and moonrise. The Ponce Inlet Lighthouse is located just 20 minutes south of the El Caribe Resort, at the end of A1A. This is suitable for all ages and levels, although we should warn you, it is a good workout so come prepared to paddle! The children's museum offers a fun, interactive, hands-on play area specifically for family fun. In addition to the museum, there is a planetarium and nature preserve. The MOAS is just a short ride away in Daytona Beach at 352 S. Nova Rd. View rescued sea turtles or seabirds as they rehabilitate at the Marine Science Center in Ponce Inlet. Explore the mangrove and whale exhibits and meet the creatures that live in the huge artificial reef aquarium.
