Upcoming Events in Daytona Beach:  Climb to the Moon at Florida's tallest lighthouse to experience spectacular views of the sunset and moonrise. The Ponce Inlet Lighthouse is located just 20 minutes south of the El Caribe Resort, at the end of A1A. This is quite an experience, guests will see see panoramic views of the Florida coast underneath the moonlight. Limited space available, tickets must be purchases in advance. View event schedule here. Daytona Cubs Baseball  Home games offer a fun and entertaining evening for the whole family, with a family atmosphere and a variety of activities. Special activities include fireworks show for special event nights, giveaways and more. Suiteable for all ages with exciting interactive performances where guests will learn the traditional island dances. The dinner consists of an all-you-can-eat tropical feast. No matter what time of year you come to visit, there is bound to be something fun happening in our town. It's more than just a beach!  Racing fans flock to Daytona Beach each year for Race Week, where the Daytona International Speedway is just a short drive from the El Caribe Resort. Watch the best stock car drivers in the world compete at the famous Daytona 500, which is NASCAR's biggest and most prestigious event. This is a popular event that draws visitors from all over the world so be sure to book your reservation early!  Bikers travel from all over the country to Daytona's largest annual event - Bike Week. El Caribe is just a few minutes away from all the Bike Week action, which includes entertainment, bike shows, charity runs, riding the loop, and plenty more within the 10 day event. We will sell out so book your room early! Spring Break - March through April Spring Breakers enjoy traveling to the World's Most Famous Beach for a warm retreat from the cold weather up North. Spring is a great time of year in Florida, the weather is perfect and the ocean water has warmed up. Sit back on the beach and enjoy your spring break!  Ormond Beach Seafood & Blues Festival - May Food lovers, this event is for you! Taste a variety of fresh seafood from local restaurants, enjoy live music, vendors and children's activities at the annual Ormond Beach Seafood Festival. There will be more than 20 music acts performing and plenty of seafood to taste. Located at Rockefeller Gardens, at 25 Riverside Drive in Ormond Beach (just north of Daytona). The children's museum offers a fun, interactive, hands-on play area specifically for family fun. In addition to the museum, there is a planetarium and nature preserve. The MOAS is just a short ride away in Daytona Beach at 352 S. Nova Rd. To see the most current exhibits, visit http://www.moas.org Marine Science Center Take an environmental journey to expand your knowledge of our area's diverse wildlife and see real sea life up close. View rescued sea turtles or seabirds as they rehabilitate at the Marine Science Center in Ponce Inlet.
